#F122Game | Custom Setup with detailed explanation for Jeddah Corniche Circuit (1.08) #SaudiArabianGP
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
*Updated for patch 1.08
The keys to being quick at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the fastest street circuit on the Formula 1 calendar, are straight line speed (*obviously) and responsiveness. The below setup is tailored for Career or My Team Career where tyre management is crucial to making your race strategy work..
Aerodynamics
Front Wing (13)
Rear Wing (18)
A low front wing angle is where most of your straight line speed comes from, I’m running a slightly higher wing angle at the rear for increased stability.
Transmission
Differential Adjustment On Throttle (70%)
Differential Adjustment Off Throttle (50%)
A Diff. Adj. On Throttle value of 70% gives the rear tyres just enough bite on corner exit, without negatively impacting on the cars responsiveness too much. I’ve lowered the Diff. Adj. Off Throttle to 50% to help the car rotate through the corners when off-throttle, a necessary trade-off due to the low Front Wing setting.
Suspension Geometry
Front Camber (-2.50)
Rear Camber (-2.00)
Front Toe (0.05)
Rear Toe (0.20)
The meta for recent F1 games has been R, L, L, L for Suspension Geometry settings. This also applies in F122, and works well here at Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Suspension
Front Suspension (7)
Rear Suspension (1)
Front Anti-Roll Bar (7)
Rear Anti-Roll Bar (3)
Front Ride Height (3)
Rear Ride Height (4)
Softer suspension at the rear for increased traction. The Front (7) and Rear (3) Anti-Roll Bar settings are balanced to provide the responsiveness you will need on turn-in and the traction you will need through Jeddah Corniche Circuit’s many prolonged high speed corners.
Brakes
Brake Pressure (100%)
Front Brake Bias (50%)
This is basically the meta for F122 and works well everywhere.
Tyres
Front Right Tyre Pressure (23.7psi)
Front Left Tyre Pressure (23.7psi)
Rear Right Tyre Pressure (21.2psi)
Rear Left Tyre Pressure (21.2psi)
Tyre temperature management is more important than ever in F122. You’ll want to keep your tyre temperatures between 90-100 degrees for as much of your lap as possible in order to make the most of the available grip and manage tyre wear.
